Booking & Pricing
How do I make a booking?
You can book online through our booking system, call us at 01283
807407, or email [email protected]. We recommend
booking in advance, especially for weekends and holidays, to
secure your preferred time slot.
How much does it cost per person?
All our escape rooms are £25 per person. You only pay for the
number of people in your group. For example, if you have 4
people, you'll pay £100 total (4 × £25). The pricing is the same
for all rooms except special packages.
Do you offer group discounts for large parties?
Yes! We offer special packages for birthdays, hen/stag parties,
and corporate events. If you're booking multiple rooms or have a
large group, please contact us directly at
[email protected] or call 01283 807407, and we'll
create a custom package tailored to your needs.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can cancel or reschedule your booking up to 48 hours before
your scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations made less
than 48 hours in advance are non-refundable, but we'll do our
best to help you reschedule if possible.
Can I purchase gift vouchers?
Absolutely! Gift vouchers make perfect presents for birthdays,
Christmas, or any special occasion. Contact us by phone or email
to purchase a voucher, and we'll send it to you or directly to
the recipient. Vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase
date.
General Information
What is the minimum number of players?
Most rooms require a minimum of 2 players. Xtinction and Dolls
House accommodate 2-5 players, Prison X takes 2-6 players, and
Sam's Saloon can host 2-8 players. While you can play with just
2 people, we find that 4-6 players often provides the best
experience!
How long does an escape room experience last?
The game itself lasts 60 minutes. However, you should allow
approximately 75-90 minutes in total for your visit. This
includes time for the safety briefing before the game, and a
debrief afterward where we'll explain any puzzles you didn't
solve and take team photos.
What are your opening hours?
We're open Thursday to Sunday from 10am to 8pm for public
bookings. Monday to Wednesday are reserved for corporate
bookings. Please book your preferred time slot online or call us
to arrange your visit.
Is there parking available?
Yes! Parking is available in bays 22-32. We're located at 83-86
High Street, Burton-on-Trent, next door to an archway which you
drive through to access the parking area. The postcode for your
sat nav is DE14 1LJ.
Safety & Rules
Are we actually locked in the room?
No, you are never truly locked in! Emergency exits are always
available, and you can leave at any time if needed. Our game
masters monitor you via camera throughout the experience. The
goal is to solve the puzzles to "escape," but safety is always
our top priority.
What age restrictions do you have?
Most of our rooms are suitable for ages 12 and above. However,
Dolls House is restricted to ages 16+ due to its horror theme
and intense atmosphere with strobe lighting effects. Children
under 16 must be accompanied by an adult in all other rooms.
Are your rooms wheelchair accessible?
As we are on the 1st floor of our building we are not wheelchair accessible.
Can I bring my phone or camera into the room?
We provide secure lockers for your belongings including phones,
bags, and cameras. We ask that you don't use phones during the
game to avoid spoilers and maintain immersion. However, we're
happy to take team photos after your experience!
Game Experience
What happens if we don't escape in time?
Don't worry! Whether you escape or not, you'll still have an
amazing time. After the timer runs out, your game master will
explain any puzzles you didn't solve and show you how close you
were to escaping. You'll still receive a certificate of
completion and team photos!
Can we get hints during the game?
Absolutely! Hints are included and unlimited. Your game master
is watching via camera and can provide hints through the
intercom system. We want you to have fun, not get frustrated.
There's no shame in asking for help—it keeps the game moving and
enjoyable!
I've never done an escape room before. Which room should I try?
For first-timers, we recommend starting with Xtinction
(difficulty 3/5) or Sam's Saloon (difficulty 4/5). These rooms
offer a great introduction to escape rooms without being
overwhelming. If you want a bigger challenge, try Prison X
(4.5/5). Save Dolls House (4.9/5) for when you're more
experienced—it's our most challenging room!
Will we be paired with strangers?
No! When you book a room, it's private for your group only. You
won't be paired with strangers unless you specifically request
to join another group. This ensures you can fully enjoy the
experience with your friends, family, or colleagues.
